The Berwicks:

with Isaac, guitar and bass, Aidan, guitar, bass and keys, Greg, fiddle and cello, and Ethan, drums. Boardmans all, with the occasional guest musician. We play raging reels and sinuous jigs (along with many other instrumental forms) for dances, and throw a few new and old songs in for concert sets.

We have played for dances, parties, concerts and weddings from Eastport, Maine to Penn State U., not to mention the American Folk Festival, and are available for more of the same.

Mighty Cloud of Fiddlers:

Established in 1988, this group is comprised of any fiddler who shows up (no auditions or rehearsals!) to lend their voice to a true cloud of fiddle sound to inspire dancing in all those on hand to raise money for Habitat for Humanity. Anywhere from fifteen to fifty fiddlers have graced the bandstand at this biennial event, now mostly held at Westcustego Hall in North Yarmouth, Maine. Next scheduled appearance is for January 2009.

Bow and String Quartet:

This is an ensemble of ever shifting personnel and instrumentation devoted to performing classical music for weddings, funerals, receptions, benefits and diverse artistic events. Duos and trios can also be arranged, depending on the client's needs and budget.

Maine Country Dance Orchestra:

This group, inspired by the big, beautiful sound of Dudley Laufman's Canterbury Dance Orchestra, played a monthly dance for twenty-six years at the Bowdoinham Town Hall. While seldom seen in their full glory, they comprise the original core of the staff at Maine Fiddle Camp, where their approach to music and life heavily informs the camp atmosphere. I am sure they could still be hired! Members through the years have included John, Ellen and Molly Gawler, Doug Protsik, Elaine Malkin, Bob Childs, Carter, Kaity, Maisy and Meghan Newell, Smokey and Bridgit McKeen, Dave Livingston, Chris Prickitt, Danny Thompson, Jay Young, Jeff Denis, Mary Sturniman, Rick Cebellos, Ray Cooper, John Whitney, Greg, Isaac and Ethan Boardman....
